Prophet after prophet
Raised our expectations
When the conscience is numbed
How will we receive the holy gift?

If I understand it correctly, transmitter and receiver both are required for successful communication.

You are very right Amit. Transmitter should transmit without expectation, receiver should receive without preconception.

Dear Sonya,
I like this poem. Thank you for it.
If a prophet or saint were in front of us, we might receive hardly any benefit if our heart is closed and numb.
With an open, seeking, hungry, devotional heart, even a stone can inspire.
All good wishes,
robert
