Shivoham

[an inspiration about the one and only one]

MahaShivratri, the sacred night of divine darkness, unfolds just before the new moon in the month of Phalguna. It is a time of heightened energy, a cosmic gateway for spiritual evolution. On this night, seekers and devotees immerse themselves in meditation, surrendering to the stillness of body, mind, and spirit and welcoming the presence of Shiva felt within.

This darkest of nights
A surge of energy
The celebration of a seeker
Within the eternity of Space

Shiva, the absolute formless consciousness
the permanent source of eternal energy
the pervading infinity
the one and only one is Shiva

and who am I?

words music sound I am
you are the depths of silence

graceful dancer I am
you are the one dance

meditator i am
you are my meditation

the less my ego
the less i become
the less I become, the more
you reside within me
until i finally realise
that i am you
you are me
we are the One
