sleeping at dawn when the world is awakening, some praying, some lost to their thoughts and most just rushing ultimately to nowhere

when i sleep, they work, they scorn
when they dream, i wonder, i ruminate

through night’s silence i reach out for mysteries and powers hidden between the folds of darkness, a chant of mystical words meaningless for those caught up in their reveries

i wish upon the twinkling sky, to grant me a forever inquiring mind and an ambition to reach beyond the illusion, dispersing all i have gathered over lifetimes

filled up with the strength of emptiness, each breath of gratefulness, every step may i plant seeds of kindness, blossoming into an unseen legacy
 
will you answer my prayers? or will you bestow what’s right for me

    And from within that universe, you created more. and within each of those, blossomed forth wonder beyond the need of any teacher or guide.

    The tide turns, destiny is a wheel, and paths cross again eventually.

    1. A teacher or guide walks with you until either they leave or they permit themselves to merge with the student. A teacher is never free of their student, their choice will lead to regret or bliss.

      If we ever have the privelege of the same pilgrimage, paths will cross this lifetime or the next. Until then tides turn and turn away, destiny is mischevious.
