say so much more

you can say so much more
through poetry
a salad of flamboyant words
or simple phrases, where
rhythm sets the scene
inspirations invoke imagination
and you find the more you say,
the more is left unsaid

as you approach the end
your mind starts to enquire
and question more
and you realize
you realize that
there are no wrong answers

you say so much more
and even more is left unsaid

say so much more – recitation

***

Last night, as I was spring cleaning, I stumbled upon an old scrap of paper, holding a forgotten poem from years past. Strangely, it feels like a continuation of my previous piece, Unsaid Words—though written in different times, under vastly different states of mind.

It reminds me how life and art are intertwined, bound by unseen threads*. Threads that make me realize that everything truly is connected, and as we journey onward, we may find ourselves in a moment of clarity: time is circular, ever weaving the past and present together.

*Threads – Two days ago I joined a book club on sutras which are aphorisms or beautifully described as threads of [spiritual] truths, and since then I keep noticing threads everywhere

and so, here is a beautiful AI generated image of colourful threads 😊
